I can't wait to start my second year as the physical education teacher at Jackson RII. My goal in Physical Education is to create an atmosphere of learning for children of all ages and abilities, using inclusion to emphasize wellness, physical fitness, social and emotional growth, and to encourage children to lead physically active lifestyles. We will not only be learning basic fundamental and motor skills such as running, skipping, hopping, throwing, striking, and catching, but also the character traits of being a good sportsman and a productive member of society. The end result will produce physically active children who value physical activity as a lifetime fitness activity. Every child will be given an opportunity to succeed and realize they can accomplish their dreams based on their attitude, character, and effort. Here is to a great year ahead!
